Mufti Abdul-Malik Sheikh
Imām Abdul-Malik Sheikh studied Arabic and Shari’ah at the European College of Islamic Studies in France and then in Wales. He also spent some time studying under teachers in the Middle East, foremost amongst them were Shaykh Ahmad Hawwa in Jordan, with whom he studied Shafi’i Fiqh, and Shaykh Munir al-Kamantar al-Tunisi in Damascus, with whom he studied Arabic grammar and spirituality.
Imām Abdul-Malik Sheikh completed his Alimiyyah under the tutelage of Dr Shaykh Mohammad Akram Nadwi at the Al-Salam Institute. He completed his specialisation in Hanafi Fiqh and Ifta at Darul Ilm Birmingham in 2021.
Imām Abdul-Malik Sheikh is also child protection social worker. He completed his BA in Social Work at the Goldsmiths University of London. He also completed post graduate studies in Social Work at the Royal Holloway University of London. He has worked in field the of child protection and safeguarding in a number local authorities across London. He lives in London with his family and is active in teaching the traditional sciences.

Imam Mohammed R. Rahman
Imam Mohammed R. Rahman, also known as Imam Raza, is a highly trained imam based in Newcastle upon Tyne. He currently serves as a faith and spiritual support coordinator at Newcastle University. Imam Raza is a trusted advisor to both local and national organizations, as well as the local media. In the past, he worked as a Muslim chaplain and chaired the BAME healthcare networks for the NHS.
Imam Raza is not only dedicated to his role as an imam but also to community service. He has founded several projects that focus on providing food banks, community work, and emotional support in the north-east of England. His commitment to community engagement has been nationally recognized, receiving awards at the British Muslim Awards and the British Imams and Scholars Awards.
With a strong educational background, Imam Raza holds a BA (Hons) in Islamic Theology and an MA in Muslim Chaplaincy. He is well-versed in the Islamic sciences and memorized the Quran at the age of 14. Sharing his knowledge and expertise, he has taught chaplaincy students at the Markfield Institute of Higher Education and other educational institutions.
Imam Raza is also an aspiring author, currently working on books about chaplaincy and poetry, among other topics. With 25 years of pastoral experience, he is dedicated to sustaining innovation and development in Muslim chaplaincy within Muslim communities and beyond.
Dr Alizi Alias
Dr. Alias was the former assistant professor at the Department of Psychology, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), where he taught courses on Psychology from an Islamic perspective. He obtained his double degrees in Islamic Revealed Knowledge and in Psychology from IIUM, a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from University of Surrey, and a doctoral degree from University Kebangsaan Malaysia.
Dr. Alias has published several academic papers on the integration of secular psychology and Islamic psychology, and the development of Islamic Psychology curriculum in higher education, including authoring several chapters in the book ‘Psychology from an Islamic perspective: A guide to teaching and learning’ (2009). Dr Alizi is the Head of Islamic Psychology at Spring Foundation.


Shaykh Abdullah Hasan
Sh. A. Hasan is a UK-based Islamic scholar, psychologist, and community leader with over 20 years of experience. He holds advanced qualifications in Islamic Studies, specialising in Theology, Fiqh, and Usul, studied in Arabic under prominent scholars in Europe and the Middle East. He also holds an MSc in Applied Psychology and is pursuing a doctorate in the same field.
Combining Islamic knowledge with evidence-based psychology, he supports clients with issues like trauma, depression, and marital challenges. As an imam for 17 years, he has provided spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and community support across England.
Sh. Hasan has taught Islamic studies, trained future jurists, and contributed to Shariah councils, business mediation, and Islamic finance. He regularly appears on media platforms such as BBC and Islam Channel and is a founding member of BBSI and several key initiatives promoting faith-based mental health, social justice, and leadership.
Shaykha Saleha Bukhari Islam
Shaykha Saleha Bukhari Islam is a Shari’ah graduate from Ebrahim College, where she completed her seminary studies as an Aalimah and pursued an additional year specialising in Prophetic traditions. This advanced training led to her obtaining Ijazah in Sahih Al-Bukhari among other disciplines. She also holds a BSc Hons in Computing. Shaykha Saleha is a student of the esteemed Shaykh Qari Bashir Ahmed Siddique Al-Madani, from whom she received ijaza in the Hafs an-Asim qira’a. She has over a decade of experience teaching Quran, Tajweed, and Islamic studies.
Professionally, she serves as a Chaplain with the Canary Wharf Multi-Faith Chaplaincy team and has prior experience with Barts Health NHS Trust. She is also actively involved on the Board of Scholars for various organisations, specializing as a Shariah consultant. Additionally, she co-hosts the live Q&A program Islamiqa on Islam channel, contributing her extensive knowledge and expertise to a wider audience. She also studied the Islamic Professional Counselling Programme to become an Islamic Counsellor.


Siti Nurul Said
Siti Nurul Said earned a BA in Arabic from Al-Azhar University in Cairo. Having fully completed the Al-Azhar curriculum from secondary and college levels in Malaysia, she possesses a comprehensive understanding of foundational Islamic sciences, including Arabic, fiqh, hadith, and sira. With over 15 years of experience teaching Arabic, Siti has also been actively involved in madrasa education and working as an Early Years Provider, demonstrating her dedication to fostering linguistic and Islamic learning across diverse educational settings.
Imran Kamaly
Imran Kamaly graduated with a BA in Arabic (SOAS, London) and an MA in Applied Linguistics (Birkbeck, London). He has over 15 years of experience in madrasa teaching and Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages. He is currently working as an Early Years Provider in a managerial capacity.
